✤Skill: Shadow Tag- Yanrin displays a dark coloration on certain areas of his body which act as a physical manifestation of his mana. He is capable of channeling said mana to search for physical anomalies in the whole body and heal wounds from the inside out via physical contact, usually using his hands but any part of his body (besides hair) can work. When doing this the dark color will be drained from his skin and transfer to the area he means to heal up. When the process is complete, the area affected will display a darker coloration which wears off with time depending on how severe the injury was initially. The color on Yanrin's skin will also come back, usually taking only a few minutes or seconds. This method is capable of repairing damage done to organs, bones, skin and muscle, but is unable to assist with torn limbs and other body parts which are no longer attached. Yanrin is capable of healing himself as well, although the process happens at half the speed it usually does when used on others, not to mention it leaves Yanrin completely open to be attacked (heal speed rates can be found below). When healing himself, the dark patches from are still transferred to the area he means to heal.

-Minor wounds (e.g Cuts and small bruises) takes from 1-2 rp turns and only seconds in canon or 2 minutes at most if there are several injuries. The exception is if there is an overwhelming amount such as over 30 cuts, then they would be considered into the 'moderate' tier. To heal himself it can take about 3 turns in rp.
-Moderate (e.g sprained ankles, bigger lacerations, smaller bone fractures) depending on amount of the wounds it can take from 2 to 3 rp turns, translating in canon to a few minutes ranging from 2 to 5. If there is a considerable amount of moderate injuries stacked such as from 5 onward then their restrictions would fall under the 'Major and Fatal' tier. To heal himself it can take about 4 turns in rp.
-Major and Fatal (e.g internal bleeding, fractured bones that pierce skin and muscles, hemorrhages) usually takes about 4 rp turns, if not 5 if there are other wounds stacked. Healing this is much more straining and requires more focus. More often than not, Yanrin is left unable to move by his own will due to the level of attention he puts into this. In canon this can take roughly 10 minutes depending on amount and type of injuries. To heal himself it can take about 5 turns in rp.
✤Minor Skill(s):
-Nocturne: Yanrin has a particular affinity to darkness in which despite his pale complexion he is able to hide well in poor or dim lit areas as if his hair, fur and skin absorbed the lack of light of his surroundings. This works as a kind of camouflage to keep himself concealed more easily and the darker the area is the harder he will be to spot, though he is never completely invisible. This ability can be used in his shifted form as well.

-Call of the wild: The ability to shift into a full sunglow fox form, granting him an improved sense of smell, hearing and sight. This allows them to scavenge for food, drinkable water and find shelter or places to hide more easily. In general he becomes a good scout and finder due to his enhanced senses.

✤Combat Style: Yanrin is not really a fighter, but more of a spy, decoy and scout. He is also a rather efficient healer and may step in if given the order to assist his teammates. Due to his generally poor combat skills he tends to stay away and will only attempt to defend himself if cornered, usually by shifting and trying to bite so he can take a chance to sneak away or using a small dagger he keeps concealed within his clothes to make his foe back off. Though this is only in case of emergency.

✤History:
Yanring was born to a couple of foxes back in the Ruby region, though they were fairly poor and so his parents had to rely on alternating between doing odd jobs to get by and taking care of their child. These ranged from acting as couriers for shady businesses and prostitution, though they always tried to keep Yanrin away from these jobs by taking him to the outskirts of towns to pick up flowers and the like. As time went by things did not improve and one of his parents was caught up in a messy situation that lead to their dead. Despite the heartbreak, their remaining parent tried their best, but the exhaustion, stress and low life conditions caught up with them and eventually perished as well. After this happened, Yanrin would bring flowers to them in an attempt to 'cheer them up', unaware of the fact that they would not wake up even as the body started to decompose.

One day, a caravan arrived to the outskirts of Ruby with a family of merchants and performers. Upon preparing themselves for the night, they found a malnourished little fox that became of Yanrin, which they decided to pick up and help to get back to health. At some point, Yanrin attempted to go visit His parent's corpse they had left and their new family followed. When they saw what had happened they decided to pack and re-assume their travels taking the little fox with them and teaching him to assist with little tasks. From there on, Yanrin grew to be much healthier and learned plenty while traveling with their new family, such as how to survive on little money, how to find edible foods in the wilderness, how to do hunting and scouting for water or shelter.
During one of these travels Yanrin discovered his affinity towards healing, as he had gone exploring the outskirts of a new area they arrived to with one of his siblings. At this time they were attacked by a feral demon, barely managing to flee but not completely unscratched. Desperate and in fear that something worse would happen to his sibling Yanrin, placed his hands on the wounded area to try and keep the blood from flowing further, accidentally activating his ability to heal. By the time the pair was found, Yanrin's sibling was at least stable enough to be helped by the more experienced healers in the famly and thus they were saved. Ever since then, Yanrin practiced his ability to heal as often as possible, going from small cuts to wider gashes and sometimes broken bones after encounters some of his family had with wild demons or hostile hybrids. Whenever he was not healing though he would practice a routine for dances that his family performed to get money when they got near towns and villages.

Life was fairly good for them and Yanrin had no complaints regarding his life style but one day while making business with a merchant the topic of Enhalo was brought up. Some of Yanrin's siblings picked an interest towards the school but were fairly discouraged since they were unsure they would fit well as they did not consider they had any outstanding abilities. In the end, they convinced Yanrin to apply due to his ability to heal, stating that he could work to perfect it, learn even more and rejoin the family in their travels later on. At first he was unsure of this, but eventually gave in due to his curious nature, applying and being accepted into the school.

✤Overview:
A fox full of energy who sometimes has issues finding ways to discharge it in effective or productive ways. He has a strong sense of curiosity and might come up with awkward questions without realizing they make others uncomfortable. Sometimes he might pick up on social cues but has a tendency to either ignore them or they plain fly over his head. He is usually seen smiling and showing a carefree demeanor as he has no real sense of responsibility for most things. He mostly relies on his instinct when reacting to different situations and in general he does not mean to be ill spirited, however due to his sometimes awkward demeanor this might be difficult to discern, being more like a child testing waters.

✤Miscellaneous:
•Despite he is a skillful dancer from working with the performers on the caravan, he is fairly indifferent towards it. In a way it is more of a job related thing for him but he is not against dancing with someone or show off if given the chance.
•He is extremely flexible in both hybrid and shifted forms, making him seem more like a cat than a fox sometimes.
•Has a habit of sleeping on high places like trees, shelves and the like.
•Due to his travels within the Ruby area and his heritage, Yanrin is fluent in the Ruby language, Hybrid Chinese and common language. He can also pick up the gist of demonic language but he is unable to speak or write it.
•He is capable of moving around very silently when hunting or hiding away, this is part of his survival tactics due to his poor physical strength.
•Because he is fairly weak physically, when he used to hunt he usually went for smaller prey such as unsuspecting birds or little mammals such as mice.
•While he does not consider himself agender or within the non-binary spectrum he sees nothing wrong with being referred to in a feminine way as this happened a lot when getting to know his new family, thus now he just rolls with it.
•Yanrin's method of healing acts as a 'filling' of sorts, creating patches from mana to close down wounds and wrapping around fractured bones to pull them back to their original positions as it patches them. In the case of internal repairs, the person's skin will display the dark coloration based on the healed areas.
•He stays in contact with his family via a small flying summon that travels from wherever his family is towards Enhalo and back, acting as a carrier pigeon of sorts.
